The Agile Coach Questions
Case Studies.
Since the release of the Agile Manifesto in 2001, The term is becoming very popular in the management world. Agile doctrine is a thinking mindset that focuses on enabling teams. This will help them to be creative and develop fast responses to changing factors and requirements. The Agility mindset focuses on mitigating risks and flexibly dealing with issues.
Scrum, Kanban, and Lean are examples of frameworks that enable organizations to be agile.
1- Scrum Approach:
Scrum is an agile method that handles projects. Projects vary from software development to product development. Some professionals think of Scrum as a methodology. However, the right way to think of SCRUM is to consider it more as a framework for managing the process.
2- Kanban Approach
Kanban is the Japanese synonym for (visual signal). Some Japanese manufacturers (Especially in the automotive industry) use a Kanban to signal actional steps in their operations process.
The Kanban nature of being very visual allows units to intercommunicate more efficiently. The tool shows what work needs "to be done" and at which deadline.
Kanban organizes lines and developed processes. Kanban helps to waste reduction and value maximization. Kanban tracks (to do), (In progress), and (done) activities.
3- Lean Approach:
A lean organization understands what is valuable to its' customer. It focuses its core activities on increasing this value continuously. The top goal of A lean organization is to provide the maximum value to the customer through a perfect value creation process (PVCP). The PVCP will always take into consideration a zero waste target.
AC's Thinks Beyond the Level of their Teams:
An Ac must be able to have an impact and create a difference.
This impact should not be exclusive to individual teams. The change should be upscaled to accommodate the organizational context as a whole.
AC's do not Seek to Be Indispensable:
AC's play an extraordinarily vital role in an Agile change. It is significant to keep in mind that the main motive to transform is achieving better outcomes. Agile Coaches will face resistance along the journey. Agile Coaches will always deal with resistance wisely as they know that it is all part of the process.
This course will cover many of the concepts of the agile mindset. It starts by running over how software development was treated the same way as manufacturing.
These evolved to be the foundational concepts for the agile manifesto. Then over 20 years organizations expanded and embraced these agile concepts. Many organizations have begun to use these agile ideas to update the entire organization.
