The course combines Data Storytelling for HR, HR Analytics and Data Storytelling, and Data Storytelling for Internal Communication to improve how organizations explain workforce trends, employee insights, and communication results.
Participants learn how to move from raw data and routine reporting to meaningful insights, recommendations, and decisions. The course develops HR Data Communication Skills, Workforce Data Storytelling, HR Metrics Presentation, and People Analytics Storytelling for executive, managerial, and employee audiences. It covers engagement, turnover, recruitment, headcount, learning, performance, employee experience, and internal communication analytics.
The course follows a structured process of understanding the audience, defining the required action, selecting the right evidence, choosing suitable visuals, reducing clutter, directing attention, and building a clear narrative. These principles reflect the data storytelling approach of understanding context, selecting effective visuals, eliminating unnecessary detail, and telling a focused story.
It also incorporates people analytics principles related to stakeholder management, analytical translation, workforce experience, business outcomes, governance, and data-driven culture.

Practical sessions include selecting suitable charts, removing clutter, writing action-oriented headlines, developing Big Idea statements, creating three-minute HR stories, and storyboarding presentations. Group exercises require participants to adapt one workforce insight for executives, managers, and employees.
Case discussions also address stakeholder management, analytical translation, ethical communication, workforce experience, and business outcomes. These areas align with the people analytics framework’s focus on governance, stakeholder management, skills, data, workforce experience, business outcomes, and culture.
