Overview
Technical Analysis Training Course: Chart Reading and Market Forecasting is a 5-day intermediate course for traders, investment analysts, portfolio managers and finance professionals who leave with a written technical trade plan for a chosen instrument. The course addresses decisions made on isolated signals by linking price structure, candlestick evidence, trend, support and resistance, indicators and volume into one repeatable reading of the chart, then turning that reading into entries, exits and position size. Chart reading and market forecasting are taught by Agile Leaders Training Center.
Who Should Attend
- Trading desks responsible for timing entries and exits in equities, commodities or currencies
- Investment analysts responsible for supporting research views with price and volume evidence
- Portfolio management teams responsible for rebalancing timing and drawdown control
- Treasury and corporate finance teams responsible for hedging and market exposure decisions
- Risk teams responsible for reviewing position limits, stop placement and trade discipline
The course assumes participants already follow market prices at work and can read a basic price chart, and it leaves out programming of automated trading systems and personal investment advice.

FAQs
Who is the technical analysis training course suited to, and what does it assume?
It suits traders, investment analysts, portfolio managers and finance professionals who make or review market decisions. It assumes basic familiarity with price charts and financial instruments, and requires no programming background.
How does a technical analysis course differ from a fundamental analysis course?
A technical analysis course studies price, volume and chart behavior to time and forecast market movement. A fundamental analysis course values securities from financial statements, earnings and economic data.
Which technical indicators are most useful for forecasting market movement?
Moving averages show trend direction, RSI and MACD show momentum and divergence, Bollinger Bands show volatility, and volume confirms whether a price move has participation behind it.
How reliable are candlestick patterns for chart reading?
Candlestick patterns are more reliable when they appear at established support or resistance, agree with the higher-timeframe trend and are confirmed by volume. Taken alone, a single candle is weak evidence.
How does technical analysis support risk control in trade planning?
Technical analysis defines where a forecast is wrong, which sets the stop-loss level. That distance, combined with account risk limits, determines position size and the minimum acceptable risk-reward ratio.
Conclusion
Participants take back a technical trade plan that records market structure, key levels, confirming signals, entry, exit and position size for a chosen instrument. The plan replaces decisions based on single signals with a documented, repeatable chart reading. Teams can use it to review trades consistently and control risk before capital is committed.
