Financial forecasting involves estimating future performance using historical results, economic indicators, and scenario assumptions to address what might happen. Financial modeling provides the mathematical framework, usually built in spreadsheets, to link operating assumptions, calculate financial statements, and quantify the balance sheet and cash impact. Forecasting establishes the strategic outlook, while modeling provides the analytical engine to evaluate decisions.
Participants complete the course equipped with rigorous capabilities to project revenue, stress-test business decisions, and align financial policies with strategic corporate priorities. By combining structured forecasting methods with dynamic modeling tools, finance professionals gain the precision needed to guide executive leadership and safeguard enterprise stability.
